Anthill Creations is a not-for-profit organization bringing back play to children by mobilizing the communities to build low cost and sustainable playscapes by upcycling waste material like scrap tires and oil drums. We are a team of architects from IIT Kharagpur building playgrounds across 16 states. These playgrounds are sustainable & DIY and can be built in just 4 days with community participation.
About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with internal teams to plan supply and logistics
2. Proactively engage with and maintain relationships with vendors
3. Design, develop, and implement warehouse flow, risk assessment, and inventory control
4. Innovate for step-change improvement in quality and cost
5. Execute strategic initiatives to build supply capacity for long term needs

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 21st Oct’20 and 25th Nov’20

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Enjoy working in a fast-growing, not for profit organization

2. Have a bias for action and are good at problem-solving

3. Have strong negotiation and communication skills

4. Have advanced analytics and judgment

5. Enjoy working with a diverse set of stakeholders

6. Are based in/willing to relocate to Bengaluru

7. Good financial and accounting knowledge will be an advantage

8. Been a part of an organization during its scaling phase will be an advantage

9. Prior experience in supply chain management (0-2 years)

Additional Information

We are looking for a supply associate who will be a behind the scenes hero in bringing our playscapes to life.
After a 3 month internship period, candidates may be assessed for a permanent position.
