Job Overview
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
2. Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
3. Work on rotating stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
4. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
5. Manage the timely receipt of material/items at stores/stockyard, ensuring proper storage, issuing, and delivery system at a construction site along with maintaining inventory through the computer system
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 20th Oct’20 and 24th Nov’20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Candidate must be graduate (store & inventory experience)
2. Should possess sound knowledge of storekeeping operation as per organizational norms and ISO standards should be able to monitor and maintain safe and quality working practices
3. Must have knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
4. Must have familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
