Social Media Marketing

Teach for India, modeled on the lines of the Teach for America movement, is a nationwide movement in pursuit of educational equity in India. Teach for India recruits exceptional college graduates and professionals to work as full-time teachers in under-resourced schools for two years. Teach for India solicits leaders who will pilot the movement against educational inequity and begets the leaders of tomorrow. We are driven by two goals: putting students on a different life path and our long-term goal of building a strong alumni base to advocate for our students and work to eliminate the educational achievement gap. Project Alphabet is a Be The Change Project (BTCP) incubated by Teach For India Delhi. The core team comprises of six Teach For India fellows, based in Delhi. The aim of the project is to create learning aids for literacy classes across Teach For India classrooms. We believe that students learn better when the teaching and learning process is visual.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Updating the social media handles of the project on a regular basis
2. Creating posts to be updated regularly on the project’s social media handles
3. Devising strategies to maximise reach
4. Attending necessary skill-building spaces
