1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
2. Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
3. Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
4. Implementing security and data protection
5. Integrating data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
