About DESIGNCAFE
DESIGNCAFE was started in January 2011 by two college classmates, Shezan Bhojani and Gita Ramanan. Both are graduates (class of 2006) of B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore. They did their training with Architects Advani & Associates and Alex Jacob respectively. Shezan did a further stint with Architects Siraj & Renu. In 2007, after tasting a couple of successes with independent projects, small competitions, and contracts, the team won a 13 lakh sq.ft. contract with Nirman Shelters under the able stewardship of Architect Mobin Bhojani.
About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on data management for L&D initiatives in the DESIGNCAFE, planning, and assessment of training programs
2. Monitoring and tracking individual behavior and performance post-training across the organization with the help of respective department heads
3. Following up and collecting the necessary feedback from the trainees and implementing the required changes
4. Participating and contributing to continuous updates and development of training and content
5. Coordinating and following up with other departments for nominations and other training-related matters
6. Providing assistance to the head L&D for all the management development, leadership training, engagement activities, etc.
7. Coordinating and assisting in organizing outdoor activities, exercises, games, etc as and when applicable
8. Coordinating with operations for effective implementation of in store/classroom/outdoor/internal/external training
9. Conducting timely assessments for the participants and partnering for performance along with the respective heads
10. Taking responsibility and accountability for all the coordination required for the effective commencement of each training across the organization
11. Developing a training calendar in line with company objectives and ensuring training delivery as per the calendar
12. Maintaining MIS reports on end to end training

1. Pursuing MBA (HR) preferable, any graduate from reputed B school
