Cuemath is a Google-funded EdTech startup. We are a sophisticated startup that provides an after-school maths excellence program for children from kindergarten to grade 8 and is offered through home-based centers. Cuemath strives to make children great at math with the belief that math can transform a child’s future. The centers are managed and run by trained and certified Cuemath teachers who share Cuemath’s vision of math excellence.
Founded in 2013, there are over 5000+ centers educating more than 50,000 students across the country. Present across the 80+ cities in India, we are charting out an ambitious and exciting journey to take Cuemath global by expanding our international footprint and we would love to have passionate and driven individuals join us in our journey.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understand what data is available, where, and how to pull it together, extraction and analysis of raw data for curriculum designer
2. Do ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner
3. Work across the spectrum of reporting and data visualization, and apply the right level of solution to the right problem
4. Derive insights through A/B tests, funnel analysis and user segmentation
5. Assist in analytical ad-hoc projects aiming to spot usage and trends across the platform/app and determine causation
6. Assist in building statistical models, train, test and tune them towards optimal performance
7. Create of dashboards for use by curriculum and business teams
8. Help the content team create interactive animations using Python libraries

1. Should be able to code in at least one object-oriented programming language. Familiarity with Python preferred.
2. Should know the basics of data crunching and visualization with R/Matlab/Saas/pandas (python preferable).
3. Hands-on with writing SQL queries
4. Ability to communicate the results of your analysis clearly
5. Passion for identifying and applying data-driven insights
6. Understanding of data mining and machine learning techniques and algorithms is a big plus, not mandatory though
7. Basic knowledge of probability and statistics.
8. Willingness to learn
9. Preferably engineering background
