About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Handle the entire bookkeeping including all the month and year-end journal entries
2. Work on the compilation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements for in house use and accounting firm for year-end tax purposes, and statutory reporting such as payroll tax, BAS, GST, and decision-making
3. Maintain employee records including but not limited to hours, salary, mileage, and personal time off, etc.
4. Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll to all employees and file all payroll taxes and forms monthly, quarterly, and yearly as required by statutory laws whilst maintaining payroll files and reports
5. Manage time-slip programs including but not limited to reviewing and downloading time, checking for accuracy, and proofing/editing as needed
6. Maintain the program and update as needed
7. Maintain all client accounts of the time, billings, and payments
8. Work on a collection of accounts receivable when necessary
9. Prepare all client invoices, vendor payments, subcontractor invoices, and payments for the management team’s approval
10. Prepare all reports related to management requests
11. Handle operational duties in terms of office management, research, policies, analytical research, and executive administration duties to the MD
