It is a citizen sector organization that equips women and girls to understand the behavior and deter sexual harassment. It focuses on women safety, not being only a woman’s problem, but by engaging with all the related factors.

The famous Durga Panic alarm in BMTC buses in Bangalore is our project. We believe that with awareness, judgment, and response, women can deter harassment to a large extent. We work towards increasing bystander engagement and also creating active communities that work together on women safety. Empathy, respect, trust, and sensitivity are our mantra. Durga was set up in 2012-2013 in response to the December 2012 episode in Delhi. We see ourselves as a platform that supports women to raise their voice against harassment in their own style and also come together to show solidarity to the millions who have nowhere to turn to for expression or support.

N-GAGE Summit – Now for Tomorrow is a platform where we unravel the hushed and brushed conversations with the youth and the best of best speakers across the nation coming together, masterclasses by the organizations doing work intensely on the issue. This summit is for the youth, from the youth and by the youth.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include helping us in getting 100 colleges on board in the next two months. The roles and responsibilities will be discussed in detail during the interview.
